It's 1947 in Earth time. The slip ship "Volara" entered the earth's atmosphere and her commander, Solara ordered her crew to set their small transport craft down in the New Mexico desert. Solara was not only the commander of the ship, she was also a cultural anthropologist sent to assess the humans development after using the very destructive atom bomb during their last war.

On the approach to the landing site, the ship was struck by a mysterious Directed Energy Weapon and crash-landed in the desert outside of Roswell Nm. When Solara woke up, she found herself alone in the transport, impaled by a piece of wreckage and unable to move. As she is dying, a human girl named Sophie finds the craft and peers into the open hatch. As Solara's life was almost over. Unwilling to lose her essence, she reached out to Sophie. Something forbidden yet miraculous happened, and Solara was able to escape the wreckage with Sophie's help. Seemingly just in time and they were able to evade the soldiers who had arrived to examine the wreckage.

This is the story of escape from the earth authorities with the help of Sophie and two of her friends, Pete and Stuart. Feeling like they had won and had escaped the humans who were determined to capture Solara, they discover a Pleiadian force has arrived—having been sent to earth to capture her for breaking the cardinal rule of non-contact with the human species. A species they considered their own.
